Meet Our Program
The graduate certificate in instructional technology offers an in-depth examination of the current trends and research on instructional technology in today’s schools. You will also begin to design instructional units and improve teaching strategies using the best practices supported by the ISTE Standards. This program also prepares you to create a professional development curriculum and experiences.
At Queens, you’ll work directly with faculty who have decades of teaching and research experience and have been in your current position as K-12 educators as well as coaches, facilitators, specialty leaders, and administrators. As professional developers, they work with school administrators and teachers in local districts and schools. This ensures they keep current on standards, best practices, and recent education trends.
Our certificate program allows you to add ‘Instructional Technology K-12’ to your NCDPI License.
