Join DICE, Belk Chapel, and the Center for Academic Community Engagement in honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.’s memory through our Royal Days of Service. We’ve got a whole range of opportunities for you to get involved in on- and off-campus service throughout the week of January 14-17.

Transportation will be provided to all off-campus service shifts. We will leave campus 30 minutes before our shift and will arrive back to campus 30 minutes after the end of the shift.

Saturday, January 17, 2026 – MLK Parade in Uptown Charlotte

Join us as we march in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade! We invite you to bring family, friends, and pets to represent Queens in the annual parade. The parade will line up at the corner of N. Tryon Street and Montford Point Street in Uptown Charlotte and will proceed down N. Tryon Street. The entire parade route is about a mile long.
