Biography

Dr. Baxter started as full-time professor with the Presbyterian School of Nursing in January 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University, and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University in 2020. She is a certified Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and her clinical experience is in pediatric critical care, primarily cardiac critical care. She has worked at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago (now Lurie Children’s Hospital), Duke University Children’s Hospital, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan Health System and most recently Levine Children’s Hospital at Atrium Health.
