How are elite athletes different? What types of training best prepares endurance athletes versus sprinters? How do you get your body to perform to the best of its abilities? The exercise and sports science major at Queens University of Charlotte encourages you to dig into questions like these as you examine the science of human movement. Our students also benefit from the numerous opportunities in the Charlotte region, which is home to four professional sports organizations – NASCAR, the Panthers, the Hornets, and Charlotte FC – as well as multiple minor league teams and a thriving healthcare community.

Program Highlights

  • As a student in the Exercise and Sport Sciences program at Queens, you will have the opportunity to tailor your education so you’re prepared to enter a variety of fields.
  • You will also apply your learning outside the classroom, with internships and other opportunities working with C正规博彩平台 professional sports teams – NASCAR, the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, and Charlotte FC – and the Queen City’s vibrant and fast-growing healthcare community.

Your Degree in Action

  • Strength and Conditioning Instruction or Coaching

A Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science will also prepare you for graduate studies in fields like:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physicians Assistant
  • Sports Psychology, Physiology, or Sociology
