Curriculum & Instruction Specialist Graduate Certificate

Meet Our Program

The graduate certificate for a curriculum & instruction specialist is designed for those interested in curriculum design and classroom innovation. This specialization prepares you for careers in curriculum design and development, teacher training, classroom assessment, corporate training, foundations, and government agencies. You will discover instructional strategies and learn how to make data-driven decisions based on analytical thinking and assessment. You will explore and evaluate curriculum design to learn how historical and social factors have influenced curriculum.

At Queens, you’ll work directly with faculty who have decades of teaching and research experience and have been in your current position as K-12 educators as well as coaches, facilitators, specialty leaders, and administrators. As professional developers, they work with school administrators and teachers in local districts and schools. This ensures they keep current on standards, best practices, and recent education trends.
