In the ever-evolving world of medicine, high-quality health care is reinforced by clear, effective communication. As the healthcare industry grows, the demand for this skill is growing fast. We designed our Health Communication program to meet that need, teaching you the skills and strategies to facilitate such essential communication and increase the effectiveness of the healthcare system as a whole.

Our Health Communication majors benefit from our seasoned faculty members and innovative programming. Accelerated MA in Communication (MACom)

Queens offers an accelerated pathway for qualified Health Communication students who want a faster route to a graduate degree. Eligible students may receive an invitation after admission, complete an intent-to-enroll form, and receive personalized advising to stay on track. Students apply formally by the end of their sophomore year and complete the pathway in the 3.5 + 1 format.
