What You’ll Study
From discovering new viruses to researching local organisms, as a biology major at Queens, the world is your classroom. Come study a variety of biological topics, learn to apply real scientific questions, and better understand the impact of science on life around you. Our faculty will help you determine the best path for your future interests as Queens offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in biology. Our flexible curriculum allows majors to tailor their course load to meet their future goals.

Graduates will be prepared to work in a range of exciting opportunities listed below. They will also be prepared for graduate studies and pre-professional studies in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or physical therapy.
