Do you want to become a strong leader, in and out of the classroom? Want to belong to a community of like-minded students? What about having more control over the work you do in college? Then the Honors Program is the right choice for you!
Getting Started
Prospective Students
- If you are a first-year undergraduate student admitted to Queens, you are automatically considered for the Honors Program based on the strength of your admissions application. There is no additional application. Top applicants who challenge themselves in the classroom, excel in their academic work, and thoughtfully contribute to their community will be offered a spot in the honors program.
- Transfer students from 2-year or 4-year institutions are required to apply.

Current Students
If you are a current student and are interested in the program, please email honors@queens.edu to apply. You must have completed at least a semester at Queens and have a GPA of 3.35 or higher to qualify. Applications are due in September and January each semester.
