Think. Learn. Do. Be.

How do we prepare you for what an uncertain future holds? By teaching you to examine assumptions and become an agile thinker, learn by reflecting on experience, apply insight to real-world challenges, and show up with honor and integrity. Along the Queens Path, we create a learning environment where all Royals—regardless of major—develop five attributes that prepare them to be as engaged and active in their communities as they are in their career.

Queens Ethos of Discovery

So, what does that actually mean? Queens ethos of discovery is a mindset. It describes the feel of our learning environment—which is supportive and encourages students to think critically and have open dialogue—in and out of the classroom.

We don’t just want you to scratch the surface of a few random subjects, so you’ll get to choose from different learning communities (groups of classes that focus on examining one topic from various different lenses). This will allow you to develop a deep and real-world understanding of some of society’s most complex issues.
